The First United Methodist Church will present an outdoor exhibit of water color paintings by Richard L. Church at the NE corner of Franklin and 7th Streets in the Uptown Arts District.
Mr. Church enjoys painting rural Indiana scenes. He has won many awards during his career as a water colorist and has taught water color painting at the Chesterton Art Center for the past 8 years. Also appearing will be Ripple Effect, a community/Ecumenical choir from Mishawaka. Their eclectic repertoire includes everything from hymns and spirituals to jazz and musical theater. This unique ensemble-in-residence at Coalbush United Methodist Church places emphasis on diversity, hope, and healing, as well as mega doses of fun!
In the case of inclement weather, the exhibit and musical presentation will be moved across the street to the Methodist Church at the corner of 7th and Pine Streets. There is a handicapped entrance on the Westside of the building.
