Raise the royal curtain on your holiday season at a banquet fit for a king and queen! On Friday, December 6th and Saturday, December 7th, members and friends of First United Methodist Church of Michigan City will present their 11th Annual Madrigal Dinner, recreating a Renaissance feast like those held in the great baronial halls throughout England during the Christmas season.
The church’s Community Room will be magnificently transformed for this magical evening, where you will enjoy delicious food, great music, delightful entertainment and all the pageantry you would expect as a guest in King Henry VIII’s castle. Seating for dinner begins at 6:00 pm with festivities beginning promptly at 6:30. The five-course dinner and program lasts approximately two hours.
Tickets must be purchased in advance and are $35 per guest / $240 per table (seats 8). To be a part of this very special holiday celebration, contact Sue Cassler at (219) 362-1421, for tickets or visit the church webpage at http://mcindianaumc.org/2019/10/14/madrigal/.
It’s the perfect way to start the holidays!
